this sounds like when i had thrush, please get it checked so it doesn’t affect little one❤️

I had thrush twice in first trimester, just would not go away. Mention it to your GP and they’ll likely prescribe you a pessary. Do not take the oral tablet, that’s not safe in pregnancy. Although I’m sure they’d tell you that.
Insert pessary using your fingers not the applicator, as applicator can go quite high and irritate/touch the cervix.
Get it seen to asap for your own quality of life because can be very uncomfortable but don’t worry yourself sick, I don’t think it can travel from vagina to baby as cervix will be closed shut and baby is inside womb.
Only risky if you have thrush during labour as baby can catch it while they make their way through the birth canal and vagina x

This could also be a yeast infection. It’s very common in pregnancy, I get it at least once or twice when I’m pregnant. You can ask your OB or try yeast infection cream. It’s not going to effect the baby or your pregnancy so don’t worry. Once you use the cream it’ll go away and won’t effect the baby during delivery. Thrush normally occurs during the third trimester.
Thankyou! I have my 16week appointment on Thursday would I be ok to mention it then or would you recommend I get in touch with my GP tmro morning?

Hey sorry my reply is late but I’d deffo tell your GP asap if you haven’t done so already x
