My MIL is fantastic. She’s so supportive and loving and kind. When I had my emergency c section she drove into our city (1.5 hours for her) to clean our house and set up our living room with a bed and bought us a new couch that day so I could get up easier and then she came to the hospital only stayed for 10 minutes to hold my son and went home (even though she was welcome to stay longer) she knew it was important for my fiancé and I to bond and heal. She’s the best
My MiL is also great. She’s incredibly giving and we talk regularly. She’s stayed with us after our kids were each born to help out. She’s checked in on just me. She and hubs have a good relationship and talk regularly as well. We live within 40 minutes so we usually have multiple family get together with them. When I had a gallbladder attack and hospital stay she stopped by just to bring me an adult coloring book and fine tip markers, slippers, and some other goodies. I’m very thankful for how respectful and accepting she is of me. Aaaand, I learned at our wedding reception that if hubs had been a girl he’d have had my name, so they “got their Stephanie”. ❤️
My MIL treats me like her own daughter. She has really welcomed me into the family which is nice!
