Is anybody else post c section and having to inject fragmin everyday? The blood thinners. I'm not even scared of needles but something about it just makes me cringe for about 20 minutes afterwards. It's the actual injecting bit that gets me not the needle going in itself. It'd the worst part about c section for me

Not enjoying it either but my husband does it for me which helps!

My husband does it for me and I absolutely hate it! I’ve never had a problem with needles but this I hate having this done more than anything!! It’s definitely normal xxx

Unfortunately, I have been having to do them since 28 weeks pregnant, I had my partner do them at the top of my bum for 5 weeks and I hated it, I've managed to do them myself at side of my thighs and it's not too bad but I still hate doing it and the stinging from the liquid x

Oh no, I’m going to have to do these and my partner won’t do them for me! Why are they so bad?

My first was IVF and the injecting myself became very normal however those fragmin injections!! 🥴 I don't know if yours are the same but the needle is so thick! I HATED it. I had a slight risk for clotting but vaginal birth so ended up not finishing the course 😬 With my 2nd born I just didn't take them. I couldn't! Horrible things. My risk wasn't that high though imo. 😕
My partner won't do them as he hates needles he wouldn't even watch me get any injections in hopsital ahah! I would do them in my bum but I'm not sure I can at such an odd angle :( and my belly is still sore so I won't inject there, running out of space on my thighs! And @Amelia they seem to be hit and miss with how bad they can be, sometimes you feel nothing and other times the liquid stings as you inject it and that's what gets me, and my leg aches a bit after. Luckily the needs I have are only little and @Tory I don't blame you I think last time I only took 8 days instead of 10 but I feel so bad for these girls that have 6 weeks of it!
@Mama A they are horrid! I skipped the last 2 as my risk isn't high anyways and now I'm free 😅
