For those using supplements prior to egg collection, (such as DHEA, Melatonin and CoQ10 etc.) can I ask when you stopped them?
Did you continue until positive test, or stop before embryo transfer?

I was told to stop the CoQ10 the day of my last scan, when they gave me the ok for the trigger. I continued with the prenatal vitamin complex and vitamin D until test day.

Coq10 before egg collection and melatonin before I started injections

But Coq10 helps in implantation so can have low dose !

which prenatal vitamins complex you are taking

pregnacare

Before pregnancy one or during pregnancy

Because going to transfer soon

I was specifically told by the clinic to stop taking it. The effects it can have on implantation and pregnancy are not well studied and they don't recommend taking it

Ok am going to start pregancare by now

so I can only take pregancare and vitamin D

??

the only thing that is recommended is folic acid. Vitamin D helps, but it is already including the pregnacare conception so you don't need to add more of it. I did cause I have a deficiency. CoQ10 is supposed to improve egg quality, so it's given before retrieval (for at least 3-4 months). This said, these are supplements, the science and the power of what they can do is not fully clear, except for folic acid. For the rest, do what you can, eat healthy, move, keep hydrated and stay positive. There's no magic pill, unfortunately.

totally agree š with you
