I totally get it! The doctor told me I had sciatica and gave me belly braces but none of them helped. I went to physical therapy and they said I need a “pelvic specialist”. I don’t know if that actually helps because the only specialist here is booked for the next month so I’ll have my baby by then

I personally use a lot of pillow and alternate hips through the night. Doggy position helps sometimes

That’s what I found on google the sciatica nerve 😓 but can’t seem to find anything to relieve the pain I’ve tried pillows I’ve tried the ball hip thrust stretches etc I think she’s just too heavy for my pelvic area honestly

If you’re just now getting the pain she might just be sitting on the sciatic nerve, try lifting your belly when the pain comes. It’s a little uncomfortable in the moment but if it helps, get a belly support band with a really large back support, that’s what they gave me at the hospital.

You can try KT tape to keep the belly up & you can sleep in it. Just make sure you use some kind of lubricant when you take the tape off. You can find videos on YT.

Or it could be SI joint pain, which I’ve had as well. There’s a lot you can do. A pelvic floor PT could help too. There’s a belt you can buy and mostly it’s just changing the way you move around. A pillow between your knees while sleeping could help. My pain comes out the worst at night, but when I was first diagnosed, the pain was consistently when I walked too. It was terrible. I also have that plus pubic symphysis dysfunction

I have 2 belts neither of those help it just started today I usually just have back pain so the hip pain took me by surprise honestly i tried the pillow between my legs it helps at night then time to change positions it’s a no go I think I just need to possibly stretch more when I wake up and do more squats

to sleep in? lol I’d give anything a try

do you have a sacroiliac belt? It’s specific for si joints and there’s a YouTube video on how to wear and place it. 🤷🏽♀️ the brand is Serola prescribed by my PT, but I think anyone can buy it. Tylenol is also safe to take at night. I’ve had to do that too.

no lol not to sleep in. Supposedly they are supposed to lift her off the nerve (wearing it all day) and sleep should be more comfortable but like I said they gave it to me for the wrong issue so I have no clue of that actually helps

No ma’am I just have to belly bands they were prescribed to me I got to the dr tomorrow I will definitely let him know about this. I hate taking medication while pregnant due to my first experience so I just don’t.

haha I meant the doggy pose lol

ooohhh 😂😂I feel so slow. My bad hun

Have you tried going to the pool. Ufff total relief when I am in the water

I wish but I don’t have the time

I’ve been living with this for like a month now. It’s so bad. Belly bands don’t help me any. I sleep with the pillow between my legs, switch sides. I asked for a PT referral but I haven’t heard anything and it’s been 2 weeks. My OB suggested chiro, but my insurance doesn’t cover and I’m not trying to pay out of pocket. Just living with the pain, and I live in a townhouse 🤦🏻♀️ Luckily when my bf is home from work he does everything downstairs for me. 4 more weeks and it’ll be gone… I can’t wait!
