Reccos for Gyno’s in Glasgow pls 🙏

Looking to get a pre-conception check (I’m actually 3 months in to TTC and taking prenatals). I’m pretty desperate to get peace of mind as to whether there is anything hindering me from conceiving before that suggested 12 month mark. Is there a female gyno specialist anyone has had a positive experience with?👍

Have you spoken to your GP? We got referred for basic checks pretty easily.

@Nicol thanks for the recco. I’ll look into getting some Maca. I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriages and happy for you that you’ve been successful in conceiving ❤️

@Maeve I definitely have spoken to my gp. They’d said to try for a year then if we haven’t conceived by then to come back. Did a digital dr appt with private medical and got a referral but I’m won’t be covered for this type of claim under my insurance for another year (typical). So really right now I’m looking to pay out of pocket to get assessed.

Glasgow Royal Infirmary have a private fertility service where you can pay for tests & consultations (I just exaggerated a bit to the GP about how long we had been trying and she referred us straight away)

The gynae consultants at the Nuffield are all excellent. You can get an appointment pretty quickly. Good luck x

We used GCRM TFP (G51) for fertility assessments and subsequent IVF treatment.
