Insurance Crap
I am so mad right now. We got a bill for the blood test I did a month ago. The estimate I was given was $0, but because I didn't know until last week that I wasn't covered on my parents' plan AT ALL for maternity costs, because I'm a dependant, we have to pay nearly $1200 for something I was anticipating wouldn't cost a dime!!! I know the estimate was an estimate, but I don't know who to call or what to do 😭 We don't just have that kind of money!

@Maryam Yeah. We definitely never got that 😔 My husband is currently emailing the practice manager, because apparently that's the only thing we can do besides have a payment plan. I even quit my job so I could focus on the pregnancy, because I thought I was covered 🥲
Are those ppl mad? Thats crazy! 1200 for what ? I thought your health card covers that. The most I charged for blood test was $230.00 Because my health card didn't cover that.
I was charged a lot too for my first panel of blood work. I didn’t know I atirante was not going to cover everything. And I have anthem PPO
It may be a long shot but you could call your husband insurance and ask for back pay cause you were supposed to be covered
Can't you claim back in taxes?
