Just a thought

Mixed race mums.. & mums to mixed race children.... do you feel like you have to be on guard slightly more and teach your kids to love themselves more and little bit more??? Because of the texture of their hair or the extra languages they speak ... our ethic foods ?? Like idk do you guys feel like there's a bit more you need to do... coz where I am.... I'm feeling it.... from my lb feeling some type of way about his complexion ( both his dad and I are mixed so he's really racially ambiguous and people have made comments that make him feel like there's a problem..) he's such a sweet lad but....he's made to feel weird by kids his age && and grown ups too🙃 idk it's taking me back to a time.. where I was surrounded by people who look like me to some extent but because I was mixed... and things I did was weird && I'm just wondering how are other mums dealing with it I'm at a place that u wanna move... I don't think the uk is for us ( I didn't grow up here... so I'm not even sure how to navigate such as a mum and... not trying coz... I don't want him to carry on going through such ) but how are. You all coping ? Like how are things.

I am a mix race mum and I agree with you

Are you talking about black and white kids mixed or mixed kids? Of any 2 races?

@AmberA🌈👶🏽❤🦋 any 2 races. Myself I'm African and south Asian. Hubby white and south East Asian.

@Tara it's quite exhausting honestly. 🥺

My husband is south asian hes from pakistan and I'm english. I have thick brown hair he has thick back hair but straight. Im use to dealing with my hair and we dont speak urdu at home as my husband was born in england. So we dont face the issue of 'texture of hair' or multiple languages. Thats why i was asking about races because my daughter is half asian and her hair is basically the same as mine

@AmberA🌈👶🏽❤🦋 ok
