I had a traumatic birth but no tearing and we had sex at three and a half weeks. I felt fine during but needed some time after that before we did it regularly.

Girl no lol but I had No tearing

i tore and waited the 6 weeks, i’ve heard too many stories about people not waiting and then getting hurt and not being able to have sex for much longer without pain so to me it was better safe than sorry 🤷🏼‍♀️

I didn't tear had a c section but I waited the 6 weeks cuz I didn't wanna risk infection

The six weeks is not for vagina trauma. It's for the hole your placenta leaves in your uterus. That's the thing that could get infected and it's much more of a problem than the stitches.

🤦🏽‍♀️ I should of waited, I make 6 weeks this Friday.

I’m waiting my full 6 weeks and had an almost 2nd degree tear. I’m healing well but the risk of infection is not worth it bc then it’ll be even longer before I can have sex 💀💀 womb gotta get right after that placenta.

Masturbation for the first time at 23 days postpartum today but no insertion.

@Schell Lol I did that about 20 days PP I'm 27 days now and I want to do it SOOOOOOOOOOO BAD but then I get scared cause of these stories I read

@Keedy so y u say u should have waited 😩?

I’ll be 6 weeks this weekend no tears but I’m waiting still because I still feel a bit sore and masturbation alone without insertion makes me feel a bit painful for about a day.

i had a c-section but also had major swelling when i was in labor down there; waited 4 weeks and it hurt a little the first few times, but i’m now 5 weeks pp and it feels fine

I waited 3 weeks 😂

@Kea it’s OV I got stitches and I’m not tryna fuck over myself and extend this w/ any extra tearing or infections 😂 plus ion want any secret ovulation bs either b4 these tubes tied.

Lool I’m cracking up at the responses because I know now I’m not alone. Was anyone else still spotting at 4 weeks ?

@Sammy I was at 5 weeks

@Sammy i stopped around 2 weeks and then started back up around 4 for a few days! then at 6 weeks i got my damn period even though i’m breast feeding 🫡 my fr said i’m “super fertile” and my body is ready for another baby and it took everything in me to not tell her to go fuck herself 💀

@Sammy stopped bleeding at exactly 1 week then just dealing with flare ups since lol There been a couple of heavy times I’ve gotten it and thought I got my period but it was done for 2-3 days after a few hours then spotting started again 😂 I’ll be 6 weeks Saturday and based on how I’m feeling I think I did actually start this time

I did not wait and I tour when I gave Birth but nothing when I had sex

@Sammy spotting at 4 weeks!

Even though I'm a little scared to jump in, I'm seeing some of these "success stories" and wondering if it's truly supposed to be 6 wks then y are doctors clearing us at 4??? Maybe we are healed at 4 but some say 6 to b safe??

I’m knocking on 7 weeks and I’m glad it’s my time to shine. We just have to find time! Natural Birth 2nd degree tear I’m glad I waited

You can get infections and mess your body u. You have a bowling ball size hole in your body OPEN WOUND. it take 6-12 weeks to heal depending on how good and bad your delivery was.

With my first I waited the six weeks, my second I waited 3 weeks and my third I’m waiting til my appointment next week when I’ll be about 6 weeks

Waited one week.

I waited 3 weeks

@Kea my midwife explained to me that technically your cervix (if you had a good enough birth) is closed enough around 3-4 weeks that the infection risk is drastically lessened. 6 weeks was the common mark where the decrease was at its most within the time range women were willing to wait. In all honesty though, it can take up to a year for your body to 100% recover (2 years if you are looking at hormones) which is why they say to wait for pregnancy. However, telling someone to wait 1 year to have sex.. not many would listen 😂

@Kea girl ion even wanna talk about it lol

@Keedy well hell now I want my success story!
