Kids biting at daycare

I’m so frustrated, my son has gotten bit by the same girl twice now two days in a row at daycare. Then i find out three other kids have been bit by this same child. When does enough become enough? I’m so upset and the bite mark is terrible and you can see all of this child’s teeth in my baby’s arm. Moms i need your advice how did you handle this or how would you handle this if this was your child?

Hi mama,
I’m sorry this is so tough.Daycares sometimes don’t have enough staff to care for many kids that may need specific needs. Can I introduce you to June care? It’s an amazing app that I’ve used to get childcare for my son. It’s for moms, by moms. There’s many affordable, flexible rates and it’s less kids so your baby gets more care. Feel free to message me.
By using this code you’ll get two hours free! https://app.junecare.co/r/kica (https://app.junecare.co/r/kica)

If you can’t switch daycares I think you’re definitely within reason to ask the daycare to remove this child from their roster. I know it seems unfair to take it out of a small child but every child deserves to be and feel safe. This happened at a daycare I worked at. And unfortunately we had to ask the parents not to return until they could get their child some help. Bitting is somewhat normal in very small children but also a sign of emotional distress.

My daughter started daycare when she was about 16 months old, unfortunately shortly after starting daycare she was the one biting others :/ it was definitely frustrating. I felt bad for the kids she was biting and i definitely understand your frustration.
I felt a little hopeless because at that age she was still trying to communicate and obvi couldn’t speak. She was not biting outside of daycare, not at home not out in public it was just at daycare. Daycare honestly didn’t handle it properly. And with her being the age she was there was only so much we could do. She grew out of biting quickly but I had to come up with solutions for it. Bringing extra toys , buying her a teether to wear around her neck at all times, bringing extra comfort toys and her fav blanket. I suggested they separate her until she stopped biting and that worked. She doesn’t bite anymore but she’s also learned to communicate so I’m not sure what it was that helped.
Maybe ask daycare what kind of measures they’re

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.
