Baby wakes up screaming
My boy has always woken up when not next to me screaming as if he’s terrified/arms going etc. we co-slept until he was 9 months old. For the past month I’ve been putting him in his cot (which he loves) in his own room. He needs so much support every time he wakes up which is hourly through the night. I’m just not sure why he’s so scared?! 😔 anyone else baby’s similar?

Thanks so much for replying, I’m thinking I’m going to have to sleep train even tho I never wanted to. Can I ask how you did it?
They will eventually get there by themselves at some point but I personally felt like I was dropping the ball on being a parent because I was so tired. I never wanted to either but we just did full cry it out because we went in he would get more upset. I took notes on how it went if you want to message me I can send them to you

My little boy always wakes up crying unless it's a contact nap and even then he will sometimes cry. Thankfully he sleeps 10 hours from 6-4 but come 4am he is crying and the second he gets picked up he is smiling and laughing. He has always done this so I don't really have advice. We had to sleep train and it was awful but he was waking every hour crying even when co sleeping so we tried everything we could before but felt it was our only option. He started sleeping longer stretches but still waking up crying 😕
