First time mom

Just had my 2nd ultrasound done today (19 wks and 3 days) everything went good baby girl is healthy only thing is is they were looking at the brain and noticed some cyst deposits on one side. They told me it wasn’t uncommon this early on to see those and it could be nothing but it could turn into a chromosome defect. I had the NIPT testing done and everything came back negative but they still said there could be a slight chance of it turning into that. I am a first time mom and was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and their baby turned out fine.

I’ve not experienced it but it looks like the majority of cysts go away by the time baby is born. If all the testing was normal and they aren’t worried then she is likely perfectly fine. Maybe they’ll do a follow up ultrasound to check on it and help give you some peace!

we are going to do another ultrasound at my next appointment so they can hopefully get a better view of that side.

Well on the bright side you’ll get to see her again soon! Hopefully everything is good!

My partner had cysts on his brain when he was in his mums belly and they told her to abort him! He did come early at 24 weeks and has now grown into a fully fledged adult at the age of 33 with no cysts on his brain and was cleared of them at birth xx

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Fed up

Anyone else just feeling fed up in general? I just never feel happy anymore. Wake up dreading what the day ahead of us will be like.
Little one will be 6 week tomorrow

32 weeks

32 week growth scan and clinic appointment. Did anything unusual happen? Ive heard a few people saying 32 weeks was when they had a induction date

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
