Potty training

My twins turned two this past January B/G I think they're ready to potty train. But they won't say potty, peepee or poopy .. nothing. how do you potty train if they won't tell you what they need ? I mean during the day might not be that hard but at night if they can't say mommy/daddy I need to potty then what ? Picture of my cuties 🥰

They might start telling you as you train. For the beginning it’s really more about prompting from the parent, my son only tells me once or twice a day he needs to go the rest of the potty breaks are my idea. I also am waiting on sleep training and keeping him in diapers for sleep. We used the Oh Crap method with great success.

You can wait to night train till they’re older if you want. You can definitely potty train before they have the words. You’ll get used to their body and facial cues for when they have to go and also you’ll be taking them regularly. It’ll work out if you think they’re ready :)

Mine didn’t start saying peepee or pooo until a month into it and more regularly 2 months into it. They don’t need to say it.

Teach them the difference between wet n dry diaper. So when u ask are u wet they'll kno. Then the potty training come easy
