Potty training

My little boy is 26 months old, i havnt started potty training yet, when is the best time to potty train? I have read online when they can tell you their nappy is full or if they tell you they are weeing in their nappy then thats a good time to start but my little boy doesnt do any of that

Our LG is 26 months now, she showed interest in the toilet after watching us use it, and told me good job mama. The best way is to dedicate the whole day or what time you can spare with nappy off and placing baby on potty when they go, it can be done in 3 days if you spend all day doing it, ours was trained very fast and she enjoys the better experience of less mess.

We are a bit more informal about it. We have had a potty in the house for a few months. But both my husband and I work full time so we are hoingnto hold off until summer holidays to do anything formally. We have gotten to the point that our LB asks to use the potty in the morning and evening but not when he is playing. We reward him by giving him high fives and telling him he is a little superstar. I am not too worried right now and really in no rush. My LB is 26 months

Okay put a different way, we also had a potty out for a few months and she started with sitting on it and then asking to go use the toilet. I am a FTM so perhaps I have more relaxed time to do it. She didn’t want to wear a nappy and I just had to remind her constantly to use it when she feels a wee wee for about 2 days and by day 3 I didn’t remind her once.
