Why does my baby hate me?
My daughter is 3 weeks old and will only settle for my husband and shes my third child. When she was born by c section I wasn't able to hold her until she was 3 hrs old due to a massive blood loss and I had to get put to sleep once she was born. I think that has majorly affected her bond with me no matter what I do nothing works but the second my husband holds her she settles and falls asleep. I still do skin to skin to try and help the bond, ill sit and just cuddle her, I've had baths with her.

I was like this with my daughter, and it took a while but after alot of trying we got there eventually
Is she breastfed/ do you have milk atm? My son preferred his dad as a tiny baby because he could smell my milk and it made him unsettled. He couldn’t sit on me without wanting food so was always wiggly and unsettled x
She doesn’t hate you - silly thing to say. But she will be picking up on your anxieties. You may smell of milk as well - sometimes it took my wife to settle her instead of me.

Try doing some things to decrease your stress levels. My daughter would do the same to me when I was highly stressed out or frustrated. Try running a hot bath and laying in it with her for a while with her on your chest. Or a steamy shower. Have hubby get you your favorite snack and eat it in peace/silence so you can enjoy it. Go get a mani pedi. Take a nap. It will get better mama. You got this
