Second degree tears - stitches

Just wanted to know if anyone’s experienced the same. I had an episiotomy and second degree tears, I’m almost 4 weeks postpartum and I feel quite good and almost healed, no longer bleeding. However my stitches sometimes just feel so dry and I feel like I can’t stretch or anything. It’s like the feeling of smiling with chapped lips but down there. I do breastfeed and I know that causes vaginal dryness but just wanted to know if it’s normal for my stitches to feel like this as I’ve never had them before, and how long has everyone else’s stitches took to fully heal? To the point where you can’t feel it when you’re walking anymore or sitting down.

Following this cause same 😭 I'm only 1 week and a half pp

Following this too,I had the stitches as same when my boy arrived on sunday 🙃

It took me a good 6 weeks I’d say. I had x2 2nd degree tears and an episiotomy 😩. My epis used to pull if I was sitting funny but had healed on the surface. Just got to give yourself some time. It does get better

@Rebecca this makes me feel better🥲 is your scar like sticking out if that makes sense? Or level with the surface of your skin
