Eating solids

My daughter will be 5 months tomorrow and I think she is getting ready to start solids. How is your guys setup? She is still in the newborn attachment for her Tripp Trapp Stoke highchair and does not sit independently. So I don’t think she is ready for the normal highchair attachment. Just not sure where she can sit upright to enjoy her meals other than on my lap? Or just wait until she can sit perfectly by herself? Oh boy😅😅

This link may help. Baby should be sitting with minimal support and have good head control. Otherwise it’s a big choking hazard. I would wait until baby is closer to 6 months and sitting better. https://solidstarts.com/readiness/

Yeah I have that one as well! Maybe I should try it but I don’t think she could sit in that just yet

You could try the Upseat! That’s what we are using now with my 5 mo old as we casually try first foods. I have a 10% off discount code if you’re interested 😊
