Previous C-Section

I’m 4 months into TTC Baby #2 and I’m curious whether I will feel pain from my previous c-section if we’re lucky enough to get pregnant again? I’m almost 14 months postpartum and still have sharp pain through my scar if I lean against it, or if my baby girl climbs on me… I’m wondering if another pregnancy will make the pain worse?

When I had my c section, they told me not to get pregnant for 18 months so that my body could heal. Don't know if it would make it worse for you, though!

My doctor gave us the all clear to try for number 2 (especially as it took us 3 years to get pregnant with our first). I’m curious if it’s just scar tissue/nerve pain. My colleague still has pain and her son is 17 years old!

Ah that's great. Have you tried any scar massage?

Soreness in my scar was my first sign I was pregnant! It hasn’t hurt since initial recovery, so I knew something was up. I’ve also had soreness on and off in the first trimester but now I’m 15 weeks and it’s fine :) xx

@Laura I did for about 3-6 months postpartum, but I got a bit lazy with doing it 🙈
