6 weeks pregnant

I got diagnosed with PCOS after my little girl was born. 2nd pregnancy. Today I had a scare. I had a heavy bleed with 2 blood clots so far. Hopefully coming to an end🤞 we went for an early scan and they could see a heartbeat 💓 In the back of my head on I’m still panicking that something is going to happen. Has anyone had anything like this before?

Yes, actually! I believe I was between 6-8 weeks maybe even 12 weeks along when I had a very random bleed / blood clot. I could tell by the color that it wasn’t “fresh blood” so I wasn’t terribly concerned. I saw the dr and ultimately as my little guy was growing and taking up more space, it pushed out a blood clot but absolutely harmless in my situation. My son will be 2 years this October and was born totally healthy.

Did they give you a diagnosis or any info on what the bleed was?

No, it was a private scan though so she wasn’t a doctor. I’m having a scan at the hospital on Monday so hopefully will find out more. The blood was bright red so fresh x

@Laura - how did you get an official diagnosis for PCOS? A few years ago I was having some wild symptoms that reflected on early menopause but the GP ruled that out and said it could be PCOS but you never get a true diagnosis unless you’re struggling with fertility? Secondly - CONGRATS! 🙌🏼🫶🏼

Thank you. I had blood tests and they have also just found a cyst on my right ovary x
