Bedtime Drama

Hi everyone, my daughter will be three soon and we are dealing with constant meltdowns at bedtime. A little background for our situation. She wakes up at 6:00 in the morning during the week has nap time from 12:30 to 2:30 at daycare and then we start bedtime routine at 7:30 at night. The last two weeks have been an absolute nightmare with bedtime. When dad leaves the room and I start reading books, she flips out and screams and bites and scratches and it's almost like she turns into a little monster/ zombie. I'm just exhausted from the constant fight and don't know what to do. Should I look into a sleep specialist? I'm just at a loss and need help.

I’ve been dealing with this not necessarily bedtime but throughout the day constant tantrums, screaming and hitting.

I’m dealing with the exact same!! My son has been having meltdowns at bedtime for over a month at this point. Age related maybe? I assumed we were hitting a sleep regression

Change their sleep environment into something more welcoming for sleep. Something like a new bedset or even a sleep like or sound machine could really help to get them excited. Toddlers can tell there’s so much to the world they don’t know and they’re trying to figure it out so going to bed will make them think they’re missing out on something
