Hey, I’m a nursery practitioner and also have a 2 year old! Sometimes this is quiet common as children go through a lot of different transitions especially when moving rooms, which can change their behaviour in different ways❤️ The nursery workers should be trying to encourage speech and communication from your little girl throughout the day which would in time help her confidence so if they aren’t already doing this then I would definitely ask them too! Personally I wouldn’t change days, this would then mean your little girl would go through another transition of going to nursery on a different day, there may also be unfamiliar children in the room which could completely throw her off! I’d definitely liaise with the nursery practitioners or nursery manager to see if there any support they can put in place to help your little girl ❤️
Thank you they are getting a Speech and language person in to help a few kids with there speech they have said my little girl doesn’t need it what so ever but because there will only be 3/5 off them in a room they are gonna try get her confidence that way and hopefully that will work x
I feel like I’ve wrote this, I’ve had the exact same situation haha. Nursery teacher said she doesn’t talk much but at home we can’t stop her 😂 they said it’s just a confidence thing and she will come out of her shell. It seems she is coming on every week x
