Help

My toddler still wakes up so much throughout the night. My bf & I moved into our new home in the beginning of this year and ever since then my daughter has just started sleeping in her own bed in her room. She still wakes up throughout the night at least 4-5 times. I have a 8-week old as well and the baby doesn’t even wake up that often. Needless to say Dad & I are exhausted and just want to deal with the baby only at night. When she wakes up at night she runs into our room crying and one of us has to put her back to bed before she wakes up the baby. Sometimes we’re too exhausted and will let her sleep on our bed but the majority of the time we don’t want her waking up the baby so she goes back to her room. Idk what to do or why she wakes up so much. Any advice ?

Same here , we just moved to a new place and my toddler started a new Kindergarden there, I also have 4 months old baby and she only wakes up 2 times at night. My toddler on the other hand wakes up 4-5 times, crying , having nightmares. My husband usually getting up when she is up and I am getting up when the baby is awake. I think it’s normal for the brain to process all new information at night and right now there is a lot going on. Plus she is still getting used to a new baby. Hopefully it will be better soon, she just need to get use to all the new things.

Try Doing A Bath Before Bedtime With Melatonin Bath Wash To Calm Her I Would Feed My Kids Right After And Give Them Warm Milk And They Also Have Melatonin Spray That You Can Spray On The Pillows And Bed I Would Open And Pour In My Air Mist So It Can Be In The Air And It Calmed All My Kids Down And They Would Stay Sleeping

@Irina Glad we’re not alone in this. But yeah I figured she’s just been going through so many changes lately. Plus she’s recently been potty trained so that also adds onto it. My poor girl :/ Hopefully soon it will all be different

@Vania usually baths don’t make a difference for her but I’ll have to try a melatonin spray, maybe it will help calm her down at least and some food after. Where do you get the spray from?

They Sell It At Walmart It’s Called Dr Teals Kids Sleep Spray They Also Have Melatonin Kids Gummies For Ages 2+ It’s The Jellybean Ones Not Sure How You Feel About That , I Had A VERY Hard Time Getting All My Kids To Sleep When The Baby Came They Wouldn’t Go To Sleep Until Like 2am Idk Why And I Was So Exhausted That I Tried It I Gave It To Them At 7 Cause I Wasn’t Sure How Long It Would Take But By 830 Everyone Was Asleep And They All Stayed Asleep Thru The Night Which Helped I Only Had To Worry About My New Born If You’re In Desperate Need Like I Was , I’d Buy It Today They Also Sell It At Walmart In The Vitamin Section It’s Kids Jellybean Melatonin

Was she sleeping through the night before the move and the new baby?

@Vania okay thank you! I’ll try the spray and other methods first before I consider the gummies but we shall see what works for her !

@Tiffany she was but before we moved we all shared our bedroom together so we slept on the same bed. But rarely did she ever wake up and cry like she does now

Yea I Understand I Was The Same I Used All That Stuff First Too But Like I Said They Wasn’t Going To Sleep Until 2am And I Needed The Sleep I Think The New Baby Changed Something Idk But We Finally Back On Track
