Section date disappointment
36+4 and I had scan and clinic today mainly to sign consent forms and get my date for my section that they've known i want since my first appointment
The consultant told me that nothing had been booked and the dates I need are fully booked and now I'm on the waitlist... the nurse said that it should of been booked weeks ago (at that appointment I was told clinic was overrun and the wait was 2 hours and that I didn't really need to see the consultant anyways so was sent home
Not really much of a point to this I just need to vent cause its pissed me off

So disappointing isn't it, the nurse who said she handles the waitlist basically told me that the consultants are useless and just want people in and out of appointments as quick as possible because there's always such a long wait to see them
Im 38 weeks and still dont have an appointment

Sorry to hear this. I’m 36+6 and the same has happened to me and they said I should have been seen weeks ago and now don’t have anything until I’m 40+4. At least I have a date but it’s still frustrating as they admitted I’d been lost in the system and I also have been mentioning it every appointment since my first one! They were hopeful they’d have cancellations for me so fingers crossed they do for both of us!
