Emergency c section - Questions

I was told I could take the strip off 7-10 days after the C-section. I bled four about 4 weeks. (Depends postpartum underwear were my best friend) My belly is still shrinking and it is week 6.5. it is really soft and numb around the incision site. I was told it could take up to a year to get full feeling back. As for being active go slow. I'm still only able to take slow walks around the neighborhood.

I didn’t realize I was supposed to take the Steri strips off, I thought they just came off on their own, however mine were still completely on at 4 weeks and I asked my doctor about it and they said I should have taken them off within 10 days. Oops! It all healed fine, though. I just now stopped bleeding completely at 5 weeks. For most of it I just wore high waisted underwear and panty liners because it wasn’t very heavy. I started going on long walks about 2 weeks pp. I’m almost 6 weeks pp and I still have a c section pooch. Mine is really flabby. I have a feeling I’ll really have to diet and lose some weight to get rid of it 🫤

I took my strips off after 10 days I bled a lot; heavier than a period for a week or two then like a period for 4 more weeks 3 month pp with twins and a still have a belly I could run errands and go around the block like 3 weeks pp but am still not super active. Can do like a 40 minute walk now and housework and stuff like that is fine now

I took my strips off after a week And I only bled for around 2 weeks I'm now 7 weeks pp and more a less lost all baby wait I wasn't to active until around 3 or 4 weeks pp Just take it slow ,no need to rush anything x

Hi everyone, thank you so much for all of the feedback. The hospital told me to never take off the strips which I think is kind of weird. I’ll be 3 weeks post partum this upcoming Wednesday. Super depressing about the stomach. I never wanted a c section and had to get an emergency one. I’m devastated
