Rolling over

My baby is 4MO and is now rolling over in her crib. She doesn’t roll by herself during tummy time yet and only sometimes can roll to her back. She keeps sleeping like this. Should I be concerned/ move her over?

My pediatrician said to roll her back when you notice. It’s a safety concern unless they can roll themselves back

Aww my babygirl just started doing this and has only done it at night in her crib too! unpopular opinion but my baby has slept on her belly since 3.5weeks old and has had no issues and now that she is rolling its from belly to back not from back to belly she still struggles with that but I am not concerned I still check on her regardless during the night but she does well.

Are you getting sleep cause my baby will be 4 months on the 29th and he sleeps just like her and I fix him and he goes right back

My baby does same, I typically leave him unless he looks clearly stuck and crying. It's actually normal at this age so not sure why your pediatrician told you to roll him/her over. We've had no problems. Babies have head control at 4 months.

I would check with her pediatrician, mine said “if he can roll into danger then he can roll out of danger” sounds like that might not be the case for your little one. Check with the pediatrician ☺️

@Jenelle we wake up often to fix her bc I’m nervous but she goes right back. We actually put her close to the net bc she tends not to roll that way so that has helped!

@Natalia the pediatrician never said anything. I didn’t ask honestly. I just wanted to see what others did before calling !
