Could my baby be teething?

My baby is 13 weeks old and is really irritated and chomping down on his hands (note that this can be developmental too) but I don’t ever remember my first born being like this bad or irritated. He is chomping on his bottle rather than sucking (and usually an amazing drinker) and seems to only be soothed when he’s got something freezing cold on his gums (teething mit out the freezer). I remember thinking my little girl was teething and being wrong but she definitely didn’t have these white buds. Can anybody help shed any light please?!

Can’t offer help but I’m the same boat! My first baby was an early teether, but even then didn’t erupt until she was 16 weeks. My second girl is 12 weeks now and I also see these white dots on her gum too.

Is he drooling more then usual or has one flush cheek? Those and the hand sucking could be an indication of teething. My 15 weeks boy is like this

@Nicoleta yes he’s definitely drooling so much & he’s usually quite a pale baby (because of his heart medication) but he does seem to have a bit more colour in his cheeks x

I definitely think so, exactly the same as my son started around the same time was early and now is in the thick of teething lol - I’m sure you already have but if you don’t get some teething toys and gels as a precaution x

My baby is 11 weeks and my friend (who is a midwife) says he is definitely teething.
