I haven't started potty training my son and my son kicks and cries when he sees the potty 😌

I would say not wanting to wear a nappy is a great sign he’s ready to start potty training. I’m going to try and potty train little girl next week. I bought a book called no more nappies on Amazon which is great for giving them more understanding. My little girl really likes the book and then I have let her choose the colour of her potty and taken her to choose underwear like in the book. My plan is to stay home for a few days and keep offering the potty regularly. Hope something here helos.

I've started. We've cracked potty training at home and very rarely have any accidents. I introduced the potty to her from 12 months, it just sat in the corner and i never tried to put her on it just let her be curious and when she wojld go near id tell her for wee wee and poo poo. I'm just massively struggling with being consistent when going out and about and not really sure how to manage this. When she goes to nursery she will sit on the potty but not use it 🤦🏼‍♀️ she's going to be 2 in May so hoping maybe another month and she might have cracked it fully but it's bloody exhausting!

We did the same as @Kelly, lots of exposure for a long time. Special books on the potty, about using pants and the potty. Did a trial run pants free at Christmas, then gave it a proper go over Easter. 3 weeks later, we're having incident free days at nursery. 2nd birthday party today with lots of distractions and no accidents either! Recommend giving a few run up practices, half days to keep the pressure low but increase understanding.
