Depressed kid
I feel like my 3 year old is depressed. He is always saying he’s sad and doesn’t know why. He cries a lot and is very emotional. It terrifies me. Breaks my heart. I feel horrible like I failed…..
My baby boy with depression … how ? Why? What did we do wrong ? Nothing I do make him happy sometimes.
I’m going to talk to his doctor Monday…..
anyone else experience this ?

Also, possibly. I just saw that you’ve recently had another baby, that could very well be why. My daughter often doesn’t even know why she’s upset, it’s hard for her to communicate it to me. He very well could be feeling like that due to the new baby, but not understand why it would make him sad. Keep asking questions, asking what he needs and having him help with baby#2 especially !

I’ve never experienced this, my daughter is 2.5. But this hit my heart and I want you to know that it most likely isn’t your fault !! I struggle with mom guilt a lot, and couldn’t imagine how I’d feel in this situation. Keep trying your best, you’re doing awesome. If you’re trying your best that’s all that matters mama.
