I was exposed to tobacco smoke up until I was 16 weeks but it wasn’t my fault. Any chance that could be it? 😩😩

It’s just the way the cord developed during implantation. Really there is no cause
Damn I wish I could sue the bitch who kept smoking in our apartment building

Can you just not be around her? Plus it sounds like you don’t like her because she smokes
No not just that she was a very disruptive neighbor. But we live in a non smoking property. I complained formally for over a year. Couldn’t afford to move out because deposits and income requirements in my area is super high. Once I got pregnant I pushed the leasing office more to either evict her for violating the contract or let us break our lease and transfer us. It sucked either way coz it shouldn’t have been us who had to move and that unit caught on fire the night we moved so we suffered some losses. I just had my anatomy scan and got told the MCI and my anxieties and emotions are kinda just all over.

I'm so sorry I just got the same news and am freaking out... From my understanding it could be but isn't guaranteed I think mostly it just kinda happens. (It can correct itself from my research).
Dang yeah it’s frustrating when we there isn’t a concrete answer. Did they tell you how long it was and if you need to go back for more scans?

They said I'm 20 weeks going for more scans starting next month (2/3 weeks between then.) and super frustrating there isn't more answers... Not sure how long I've had it they couldn't see at the last ultrasound.

Oh ok, well it is something that just happens tbh. You can have it this pregnancy and your next pregnancy you could not
