Anyone else still waking up every 1-2 hours at night 😭😭
As a newborn my little girl use to sleep through... since 4 month sleep regression, she's just got worse!!!
We are EBF and she feeds to sleep at night - just feel like there's no end.
I would really like some sleep 😴

Yes, I’m up every 2-3 hours sometimes every hour on a bad night! It’s been like this since the 4 month regression too.
I EBF so feels like I can’t have a break, especially as my baby refuses to take a bottle.

Snap! And my LO is so upset when he wakes too. Praying it ends soon

Oh my gosh! My little one is EBF too and I’m awake between every 2/3 hours on a good night and every hour on a bad night! She used to sleep through but no longer since the 4 month sleep regression! X

Every 40 mins… I feel your pain. It’s been like this since January… 😱

Less than every hour tonight and less than every 2 hours for 2 months 😭

There’s light at the end of the tunnel! We were the same - EBF, waking every 40 mins-2 hours (2 on a good night) since Christmas. The last couple weeks she’s just started waking 2 times a night for a feed (around 1, then 5). It feels life changing 😂 hang in there xxx

Yessss if we make it to 3 hours I'm celebrating 🙃 but mostly 2 hours max, EBF and baby won't take a bottle here too so its all on me, exhausting! Sending solidarity x

I'm in the same situation as you, it's exhausting

I’m sorry you’re going through this but I’m also glad I’m not the only one… I thought I was doing something wrong.
I’m exhausted and yesterday I almost snap for the first time… I managed to stay calm but it’s hard when you’re so sleep deprived and baby is moaning nonstop.
Hope this is just a phase!

If it makes the EBF mums feel any better... We're now combination feeding after a nasty bout of mastitis affected my supply. Decided to do the formula at night so dad can share the wakes and then she has some breast milk at night but mostly in the day. Although I don't have to get up each time I do still wake up and she doesn't sleep any longer! I feel like people always told me she'd sleep longer with formula and it's not the case for us. I actually think the sleepy hormones in breast milk meant we both got back to sleep faster before. Maybe this isn't helpful but just in case it reassures anyone... You are doing an amazing job and I wish I could ebf!

this makes me feel a tonne better! Everyone keeps telling me to give him formula as he’ll sleep longer (I can’t even if I wanted to he won’t take a bottle 😭) but it helps to know it doesn’t work for everyone. (Absolutely sucks for you though) but hope you’re feeling better and getting some more rest x

@Yasmin I log her sleep in the Huckleberry app and note if she had breast milk or formula so I can confidently say she sleeps exactly the same! Almost to the minute with her wakes sometimes. Before the 4 month regression she did 4 hour stretches and I felt so much more rested so I'm hoping that she returns to that pattern at some point! We started BLW this week and she's definitely eating some as the nappies have been 'interesting' but no change to sleep there either, that's another thing I've heard 100 times is that they sleep better once eating solids! The research shows that breast fed babies wake more but go back to sleep faster so in total the minutes spent sleeping is the same for however they are fed.

my baby slept really well before the 4 month regression and then boom overnight out the window. He wakes hourly most nights but luckily as you say feeds and goes back down pretty much instantly it’s just so hard with the broken sleep isn’t it! I too have had the ‘he’s waking because he wants real food’. He’s 6 months on Friday so will try BLW but I’m not expecting any miracle cure to sleep well with that either. Dreading the nappies 🙈 xx

Thanks everyone. Its nice to know I'm not alone. The broken sleep us really getting to me 😵💫 and daddy can't help because 1. He has work, 2. It's just easier to feed because she usually goes back to sleep very quickly.
I've tried to leave her for 10 mins before getting her up but generally she will get more upset 🙃
I'm thinking of moving her into her own room but worried we will still be waking every 1-2 hours but I'll have to walk all the way to the other room to get her 😅

Same same same SAME I can’t believe mine used to sleep through not since jan or feb thou since the last jabs! I just can’t live like this! I thought things would be so much better by 6 months old

I could have written all this myself!! Baby used to sleep 8-10 hours straight then 4m regression hit and she started waking every hour. She wakes 3 times a night still but we co sleep since the regression so quickly whack her on the boob and we're both asleep within minutes. Nooooo idea how to manage getting her back into cot never mind in her own room 😵💫

Yes my LO is exactly the same, I saw every hour last night. I’m sooooo tired 😩
