Hey @Jessica I’m so sorry you are struggling right now! The 12 month sleep regression can be the hardest and longest regression for most if not all babies. Weaning that early morning nursing session will help a lot! I would recommend looking into sleep education to help teach him how to sleep as well. It’s a gentle, holistic approach to sleep training, no CIO. Send me a DM and we can chat more if you are interested 😊
Could you bring him into your bed at 4 and breastfeeding laying down so you both get more sleep/ rest.
@Kirsty I was going to recommend the same thing. My 2 1/2 still wakes up some nights at 4am and I’m too tired to transfer him back and then he wakes right back up so I just let him sleep with us until it’s time for him to get up. My LO is developmentally delayed. It’s just not worth the fight anymore
I find that if I put my daughter to bed earlier she doesn’t wake at that time… every baby is different tho. Sorry. I feel you
Sadly it’s normal for them to still wake up at this age. I’m going thru the same thing with my LO who will be 1 on the 29th.
