I know babies will all do things at their own pace but I just wondered if anyone had any advice from personal experience, on how to encourage standing up/walking?
My LO is nearly 10 months and I can tell is dyingggg to get standing up but she can’t yet pull herself up. She can stand if put in the position but only for a few seconds. She will also take a couple steps if stood up and you’re holding her hands!
I don’t want to rush her but I feel like I could do some basic stuff to help encourage, just not sure what!

We have a walker which my little girl walks really well in but she can’t walk on her own and I don’t think she will anytime soon either. You could also get one of those wooden walkers where they can hold which will help with standing then walking

Do you have a jumperoo or a walker ???
It will help her legs strengthen...
Start by laying her down in front of you and letting her pull herself up from the laying down position to sitting with your hands and then move to her pulling up from sitting to standing on your hands...

Have a look into some exercises that paediatrics physiotherapists suggest. There are multiple online. Here’s the main ones we’ve been doing.
Find a surface that is stable and at a comfortable height for your baby to pull up on.
You can start easy - sit them on your knees facing the sofa and place a toy they want on top. Baby will try to pull up to get the toy. Essentially baby is pulling up from a high squat.
Then you can sit cross legged so they are sat on you but a bit lower and repeat. They’ll be pulling up from a low squat.
You can then sit baby on the floor and show them how to pull up onto their knees and then up to standing.
We use the sofa, her bookshelf and got a pickler triangle to practice. At this point my girl can pull herself up most of the time.
Once baby is stronger, you can encourage cruising by placing toys at the opposite ends of the sofa.
Hope that helps!
