Sorry for the long post, but just wondering if anyone is or has experienced any of the stuff I have been the past few days?
I've been feeling kind of sick all day, like it's right there in my throat ready to come up but hasn't yet (is keeping me awake). Can literally feel it there every time I burp.
Also I've felt this sort of pulsating feeling in my lower bump about 4 or 5 times now? Not sure what it is or if I should be worried/call midwife, it's definitely not baby moving or hiccups.
Another thing, as well as what I think is lighting crotch, I've been feeling a numbness in my inner thighs sometimes along with it when I'm standing or walking. Literally makes my leg go like jelly because it goes fully numb.
Feeling a bit nervous and unsure if I should be concerned or not. FTM btw

Sorry and tingling/pins and needles a lot in my legs from the knees down

I’ve had this quite a lot, I’m 37+4 now and since 36+4 I’ve been having early labour contractions and since 2 days ago when I was 37+2 I’ve been having reduced movements so I’ve literally been in and out of hospital and gotta go up again later today so I suggest calling up triage and getting checked out. Hope all is well x
Hi, that sounds like a lot going on! What bit have you had quite a lot or just all of it? Hope everything will be all good for you too soon xx
Did you call triage because of the reduced movements or the other stuff as well? I can feel baby moving around still so not getting reduced movements at the moment x

It all could be but could just be your body preparing. Really the only signs of labour would be losing your plug, waters breaking and having contractions. Everything else is entirely circumstantial.
As long as you aren’t worried about movements just rest up while you can before it does begin!
Yeh that makes sense. Thank you both! Early hours stressing I think 😅

I’m literally the same, every little thing I’m like here we goooooo and then nothing 😂
it's so hard to tell isn't it🤣trying to be in tune with my body but not overthink things
Hi , the pulsating I'm pretty sure isn't hiccups as I've felt her hiccups all the way from quite early on and know and recognise them well and it's quite different. So really not sure what it is!
Really appreciate your message though thank you, especially the symptoms you had going into labour first time. It sounds similar actually to what I think has been braxton hicks which I've literally just started getting, especially last night. Super painful, waking me up 😩

Yeah it’s a weird one really, I’ve been having a similar feeling of the pulsating lower down I just assumed with her being upside down and low down that that’s what it was lol
Yeah honestly I don’t remember feeling BH with my first I just remember going through it the ‘once’ in Labour but they were like a constant ache if that makes sense :)
