I’m freaking out because my daughter and her dad are leaving down south go visit his family upstate. They will be gone for 3 days and I will not be there. I’ve made a list of things to pack for her but please if you guys have any tips for the plane/trip do not hesitate to add some! I am so so worried because she simply won’t be with me. Has anyone ever been away from their kid for more than a couple of hours???? Here is what I have so far.

Just to add to the plane items, on my personal list I also have Boogie wipes, jacket, water bottle, all the snackkkks, and a few small toys (extra bonus if they’re ones that can be also used for bath time while traveling).

Toys! Amazon has cool airplane toys, motrin/tylenol, im down south its pretty hot, so maybe a fan

If you trust your husband then I dont see the need to be worried. Obviously you’ll miss her like crazy but I assume she’ll be taken care of. My husband tells me “it’s not wrong, it’s just different” when he does things his own way with the kids. I always pack a thermometer. Also check the weather for over there to make sure baby is dress appropriately.

Something to chew or eat during takeoff and landing! Sometimes cabin pressure fluctuations can be painful when kids don't know how to help their ears pop.

Allll the snacks & a bunch of toys.. new ones she’s never seen before!
When in doubt, have your husband pre download some favorite shows if nothing else will work on the plane.
How long is the flight?
