Breastfeeding and fertility

I’ve been to see a fertility specialist as I’ve been trying to conceive for about 11 months unsuccessfully. My first was easy. I’m still bf only once a day, she has advised me to stop feeding before we do and hormone testing and that it could be hindering my conception. Anyone have any experience of stopping feeding and falling pregnant quickly after?

I stopped breastfeeding July 2023 and fell pregnant Sept 2023. My periods had returned to normal at the start of 2023 while still breastfeeding. In my experience stopping breastfeeding did help my fertility but I couldnt say for sure that was it, everyones body is different. I hope you have success soon ❤️
