I haven’t personally seen it, do you have an owlet monitor for heart rate and oxygen? It might be good to know if they significantly drop when he’s asleep?

I'd get to A&E

Definitely a&e asap to get this checked out they tend to get cold hands and feet while sleeping but it's just hands and feet any other body part needs to be checked

I’d go to A&E, it seems to me there is something off with blood circulation

I agree w others take bubba to A&E I wouldn’t be risking waiting for doctors appointment when there’s a high chance ull be sent to hospital anyway xxx

Have u tried (do this during day when ur fully awake n alert and able to watch at all times) putting baby ti sleep on his belly? This was only was they could get my little ones oxygen levels where they needed to be in the hospital? But you’d need to do it when ur fully awake n watching xx

Hope u get to bottom of it must be abit scary!

Could you pls let us know how you get on. My LG becomes really pale often when she sleeps too, I do wonder why she loses all the colour in her face and hands & feet. They become cold too. Once she's awake she has rosey cheeks again. I mentioned about her always having cold feet to hv and Dr's but they said nothing to be concerned about. She's healthy and alert in waking hours so I'd just put it to the back of my mind until seeing this post

Id go a&e this could be monitored easily with an overnight stay it could pop the probe on his finger to see his oxygen levels throughout then night xx

This is stressing me a bit my baby is the exact same but we were always told babys hands are supposed to be cold

Following for update

I hope you get some answers in A&E and things work out xx

Yes, it happened to me last week. I had to go to A&E with my baby. 👶 better to be safe and sound

@Jane💖🇬🇧👑🍹 hey girl can I just ask this post got me thinking I wonder how obvious it looks on babies of colour which my daughter will be what stood out to you on he/her skin?

@Sarah they’re hands n feet are often cold but changing colour like that isn’t normal I don’t think (not a health professional and fellow first time mumma) if they’re hands are freezingggggg then I’d expect to see changes of colour but then if the house is warm n bubbas wrapped up there’s no reason for it, and abit cold yeah but this can’t be normal, if urs is like it too I’d defo be taking them A&E

Yep my little boy used to go deathly pale when he slept when he was a newborn , it used to scare me but the drs were never concerned, if his tired now he still goes pale in the face that’s how I know his tired his 11 months old now x

They said all is okay he checks out grand and to follow up with pediatrician appointments next week. He's so happy and alert when awake . Still never feels right tho. @Sarah that looks so scary I feel the same like I'm annoying them some make you feel it too.

@Jan that’s exactly what they said to me as long as she’s fine in herself, eating etc fine and isn’t in pain then not to worry. The doctors did tests on her circulation and said all is fine but I still worry so much. Frustrating isn’t it 😩 I just don’t know how many more times I can visit if they keep saying the same thing, glad all his checks were good though 🤍

@Nicole she was a little bit cold but not freezing and the house was warm etc, it’s so worrying but I’ve taken her to the doctors twice showed them how bad it can be and they just told me her circulation is fine and nothing to worry over etc but the colour of it is so scary 😣😣 they do make me feel like I’m exaggerating too but it just looks so abnormal doesn’t it 😩 xx

@Sarah have they taken any proper test? Sometimes I think they brush first time mummas off as overly anxious (often out anxiety’s are so bloody justified!) I’d be super worried about it too n be trying to get to bottom of… my little one often has cold hands n feet n has since birth at most (even when our in the cold) they get abit red but that’s all not to the degree of either of ur bubbas!! I’d be so worried!! I always think ur best of being over cautious then under! Xx

@Jane💖🇬🇧👑🍹 how did your LO get on in a&e?

@Gracie Hey there, I am a mother of a mixed race child I have been there before when my child went pale, so this is why I commented I’ on your post I was not being mean racist I was just sharing my experience as well. It’s not like I’m being mean.

@Jane💖🇬🇧👑🍹 I take no offence girl I just saw another black mum and thought you could drop any signs to look out for my baby comes in July and never knew this could happen i would cry😩🤍
