What to do

OK so I'm not sure what to do here, my daughter is 2 months old and she's starting to get a flat spot on her head. I lay her on her back for bed and nap because that's what I was told, and that sleeping on her stomach can be deadly. I have one of those neck pillow things that people bring on flights or road trips (I can't remember the name of it honestly I should be asleep is 2am here) I use that as like a pillow for her. Is there anything else I can do? Please help me my mom noticed it I'm worried the Dr might say something

I was told to rotate each night the way their head lays so either to the left or right or just on the back. If you get what I mean

Plenty of tummy time on the floor, your chest and do lots of baby wearing!! Holding baby upright also helps!!!

Don't use the pillow while she sleeps, it can cause silent asphyxiation due to a pinched airway. Let her fall asleep naturally and when she is deeply sleeping, use both hands to gently move her head so she isn't lying on the flat spot. The pillow can be used to prop her up for tummy time!

A chiropractor could help. But essentially you will need to rotate the head while she is sleeping on her back , is not necessary she sleeps with the head straight. During nap time, if you can supervise her put her to sleep on the side, and spend the waking minutes on the side tummy time, baby wearing

A pillow is very dangerous, please don’t use it. It’s completely normal for them to get a slight flat spot whilst they’re this young and it will correct itself when she’s a bit older and not laying down as much

When they become more Mobile it will correct itself. No need to worry xx

No pillows! Just do more tummy time!
