Need to vent angry mummy
So my lad has been struggling at school this week. And I feel like the school are penalising him for being different he has autism &adhd and has had a meltdown again, (he can't help that) I can't wait till Sept where he will be understood. Angry and upset mum 😤 I didn't say much as didn't want to get angry or upset I'm front of my lad and there was others in where we pick him up. Has anyone else had this problem?

A ehcp would really help him in school and possibly have a meeting with his sen to discuss your concerns
He has an ehcp.behaviour plans and ieps In place, I'm just warry about what I say as the school are also transitioning him from school to his sen school soon, as there are says they take him and days were the parents take him.
But I will just put a polite note in his communication book

I have and wished I would of spoken up more for him back then as I didn’t understand it myself as yet maybe remind them that he can’t help it and will become overwhelmed
