Moving to the beach!

Hello everyone! I have a 10mo baby and we will be moving in two weeks to Playa Troncones in Mexico, just for a couple months tho. I'm quite nervous about taking my baby to the beach, I know it will be great for her development but I'm still nervous about her crawling into animals or eating sand and whatnot. Anyone has experience with living in a tropical beach with such a young baby? Thank you !

I have no advice for a sand eating baby but I plan on getting baby water shoes. This would protect those tiny beans against hot sand and possible jellyfish and other critters. The sand is a great form of sensory development but I'd be worried too. We have plans in the future to move closer to the ocean so you share any tips you learn along the way. This sounds like a great new adventure for you all!

I let my babe mostly sit on my lap stomach down and she plays with her hands and I just watch and make sure she doesn’t put it in her mouth! I bring toys as well for her to chew on instead. Also a sunshade half tent she crawls around on instead of in the sand! When we are in the water I hold her and am mindful of critters!

Thank you both so much! @April I will let you know the things we learn lol
