“Field Trips” for 4m+

I am taking a year off from teaching to spend with my daughter. She is currently 4 months old and to enrich her experiences (and break-up the Groundhog Day feeling of being a SAHM!) I want to take her on weekly “field trips.” I am thinking within San Jose to keep them close to home, but I am open to a day trip if it’s a great spot! Please share recommendations for places to take a 4m+ kid! Also open to a list of no-no places that have bad customer service, are less kid friendly than they advertise, etc.

Happy hallow is great for a walks and a change of scenery. Def check out storytimes. Miss Marsha does baby lapsit at the MLK library and she is amazing! Palo Alto junior museum is also nice

Children’s discovery museum and our favorite baby park is Lincoln Glen in Willow Glen.

Libraries and parks are awesome. The Sunnyvale library has an awesome toddler play area. We like the storytime at Educational park library. Also, some great parks in Sunnyvale. We found Hellyer park in SJ has a nice water park that's great for hot days.

Almaden Lake is great for walks.
