Insulin before bed
I was prescribed insulin today to take before bed for my fasting sugars. They didn’t tell me anything accept take it at night and an amount. Do I just take it right before going to bed?

That’s what I use too. So you just dial it to the anount, add the needle, remove both caps on the needle, and pop it into the skin
When I was on insulin I was told to take it before going to bed, I would change the areas of where I put the insulin to give that area a break I personally didn’t do my stomach I know they say it’s safe but I just didn’t feel comfortable doing it there

Hi! Yes. I’d check blood sugar and if it’s below 90 eat a snack so it doesn’t get too low in the night. Top of Thigh, stomach, or arm are best. Any fatty spot you can pinch. Do you have a syringe or a pen?
