Getting started fostering!
I believe we've decided to go through an agency and which one but still have a few things to take care of before we can start fostering such as getting our dogs shots updated... we plan to take Littles to start until our girl has her words and understanding of privates being private... with that being said what random things do you recommend we do/get in advance that I may not have thought of!

@Moll not yet we have to wait until the 1st of the month for the dogs shots to be able to give them those records with the application...
Oh really? My husband and I took our two classes and in the process of getting paperwork done
@Moll yeah my wife feels really strongly about having everything as ready as we can get it first

Hey congrats! Fostering is a beautiful but very challenging journey. Definitely one of the hardest things my husband and I have ever done. I'd recommend reading books and listening to podcasts to help you get an idea of what it might look like to have a foster child in your home. Specifically educating yourself on the effects of trauma.
