What to do

My partner is doing some work at someone’s house tomorrow but I’ve just had a call off the doctor to ask me to go in tomorrow for a check up… We have no family where we live and it’s too short notice to put her into nursery for an hour or so. Any other appointment I take her too however this one is upstairs in the doctors and I can’t take the pram up the stairs and they have no lifts, but it’s also a check up of my down below so need to be on a bed, my daughter is walking and is into absolutely anything and don’t fancy her pulling at wires or something I know it’s completely unprofessional but should I just drop her off to my partner for an hour at this random persons house and risk them bad mouthing my partner to other people??? What would you do?

I'd rearrange the Dr's appointment personally I wouldn't risk your partners work.

I’d rearrange the appointment.

Calk the doctor back and explain the situation, if they can be accommodating then go if not then re arrange

I would call the doctors first. Surely they must be able to accommodate or even help you up the stairs. I have a light weight pushchair so i would’ve just carried it up. But I defo don’t think you should drop the baby to your husband. It’s unfair on him

Either reschedule the appointment or tell them you have no child accommodations and they will have to deal with my toddler being with me for the checkup

In one of my doctors appointments they brought someone to hold the baby next to me and Rick her while I was doing what I needed to do. Maybe they could do the same ?

I worked at a GP surgery and in pretty sure they will able to accommodate we would usually get someone who was working at the surgery to entertain anyone’s children that came with parent to appointment in the room when needed but I wouldn’t drop them off to partners work xx

Is it possible for him to take a break when you have the appointment? He could meet you at the doctors and wait in the parking lot with your child.
