Sensory Classes

Hey all My baby is 8 weeks now and am wondering when I start taking him to sensory classes? He loves water and loves lights - I think it would be nice to look into some sensory swimming groups nearby or music classes but not sure if he is too young still?

I started taking my little girl to sensory classes at six weeks, but she wasn’t really interested at all the first week and just wanted to cuddle and feed but by her second class (when she was 7 weeks) she began absolutely loving it! I suppose it’s just down to how alert and interested your baby is in play/sensory things, my wee one was only half interested at sensory play at home to begin with and now she loves songs, toys and tracking things etc so she gets loads out of classes🫶🏻x

I brought my little girl last week for the first time when she was 7 weeks and she really enjoyed the bubbles and she was definitely taking in everything around her. I was worried she’d be too young but there were two other babies a similar age and I think she enjoyed it. It’s also nice to be with other mums at a similar point as you 😊x

My little girl is 9 weeks and we started sensory class next week is called hartbeeps x

Baby sensory is amazing. We went this week for the 1st time (9 weeks) he poved it. Ive been wanting to take him but all the classes are oversubscribed in my area, i only got this place as someone was ill. I would definitely recommend it. I did rythmn time yesterday and i dont think my boy will benefit from that properly till he is older xxx

@Derya its a franchise, if u go on the website and type in your postcode it will tell u the ones near you

Took my first at 5 weeks, my second at 8 weeks. They’re both very alert so loved it! X

@Katy thank you 😊

Thank you all! I think I’m going to book him somewhere and see how he does. If anyone local has good recommendations for sensory groups and classes around my area (Cobham), that would be great! x
