Joined a step challenge at work

So I joined a step challenge at my job 😅 it’s till May 19th . Yesterday I walked 8.2 miles . Idk if this was a good idea lol but I’m going to try and keep up with it. My job is an office job so we are always sitting down which is not good especially for our legs circulation. I do try to work standing when I get to work from home. Anyone else trying to stay active ?

I think walking should be fine as long as you are not too hot/ to fatigued from walking. My doctor said I can run 5ks if I want as long as I am not too fatigued from doing it.

I’m a mail carrier and I walk anywhere from 12-14 miles daily and my doctor is fine with it as long as I can physically do it

exercise its great but gradual changes....im still running but not at my usual pace and i do strength training too
