I need help!

Can anyone recommend some form of support online chat thing for some professional advice/discussions? I feel like I’m struggling adjusting to my new life as a Mum. I’ve got a beautiful little girl who is a rainbow baby which I am so grateful for. I just feel a bit lonely? My partner is amazing in lots of ways, but he is dreadful at understanding my emotions and how things affect me. I mainly blame that on his childhood and upbringing, he did have a difficult time which is not his fault at all but because of this, he doesn’t really see emotions such as sadness & loneliness, because he’s just shut them out his entire life. I have so many amazing people around me, loving family and friends but I don’t want them to see I am struggling. The love I feel for my daughter will never change she is always my number one and main priority I just feel so burnt out and empty. Sorry for the long winded message, basically I just need someone to talk to that isn’t a close family member or friend♥️

In my area (West Yorkshire) we can self refer on line for mental health support either for face to face or on line. Is there similar in your area? Maybe your gp or HV could advise? Xx

Have a look at Selfspace online - it’s a private service but can talk to someone next day

I think your health visitor can help you, i remember they asked me how i feel and if i need help with anything..maybe they can direct you to someone. I hope you feel better soon..it’s stressful, hard and definitely have days and nights that i m pushing myself too..will get better soon 🌹lots of hugs
