Help

I live in Florida and I don't have insurance at all. I've been waiting all month for dcf to get back with me to see if they need any information and stuff. I'm disabled and I don't work. I went to my first appointment completely fine. But they said I have to see someone else because I'm too high risk for them. I need help as to what I can do....If anyone can give me advise or something that would be greatly appreciated!

I only looked at your page to see if you had your age. Are you able to get on your parents insurance for the main time? You can be on a parents insurance until 25! Maybe that could be an option? If not I’d maybe reach out and see what the process is looking like as you have appointments you need to attend.

Here’s a website sharing how to get Medicaid when you’re pregnant! Also look up “Women Infants and Children” or WIC in your area, they can help with food, basic medical care, etc for you while pregnant and I think up til 6 years old! https://browardhsc.org/for-parents/medicaid-for-pregnant-women/#:~:text=It%20is%20best%20to%20apply,%2D800%2D955%2D8771.

@Tayva I'm 22, my mom doesn't want me on her insurance.
