Babies last name
Filling in forms for nursery it kinda hit me that my baby has a different last name to me 😩
Has anyone else felt this?

This is why I wanted my daughter to have both our last names for nursery and appointments etc so they knew we were related and when we eventually get married me and her will have the same 2 last names in the same order 😊
Tbh idm so much because I prefer his my sons last name to mine and it goes better with his name, but i am looking forward to matching
I wanted our family to have the same name so I told my bf I'd want to be married before we had children lol we are now married 😊 I also didn't want anything to do with my dad's family name as I'm no longer speaking to him so couldn't wait to get rid of that name

If it bothers you that much why don’t you either: 1. Get married (if that’s what you and your partner want) 2. Change your name by deed poll 3. If you don’t plan on ever getting married I would personally give my baby my surname or double barrel it?
