Week old baby

I feel like my baby is asleep all the time, he occasionally cries like last night he had wet through his clothes and woke me up crying to be changed, but other than the occasional cry he just sleeps! He’s not even crying to be fed, so I’m having to set alarms every 2hrs, is this normal? When he is awake he is just chillin’, he does cry at bum changes but I have to change his bum to wake him up!

My youngest daughter is exactly like that she is now 4 weeks old and still only cries when I'm changing her bum, doesn't even cry when she has a bath. I don't know myself if it's normal as my other 2 used to cry for every need but my youngest seems so content all the time

My baby didn’t even cry when getting countless prick tests on his feet due to my GDM and still isn’t crying! He’s 14days! Midwife said it’s normal and absolutely fine! As long as they aren’t rejecting the feeds, gaining weight as per normal! We’re good!

Our little girl is 11 days old, she only cries if she's stirred for a bottle and its not ready yet, if she's cold / during Nappy changes and if she wants a cuddle, that's it, the rest of the time she is so content and chill lol 🥲 long may it continue haha

Very normal, make the most of the sleepy quiet newborn. I found the crying kicked in about 6/8 weeks. I didn't find my first cried when she was hungry as I would just feed when she stirred catching before the cries

My babies nearly 4 weeks and I’ve heard her cry once !!!

Feeding two hours might be too soon for her that’s why she isn’t waking, my midwife said as long as the baby doenst go over 4 hours. However my boy wakes every 2/3 hours xx

Would generally say waking every 3 hours in the first few weeks x
