Maybe false positive for amniotic fluid?

I’m 30 + 6 weeks pregnant and a few days ago felt like when I was getting ready for work i had a lot of discharge but felt very watery, I got worried as it was uncontrollable and completely soaked through to my shorts (was a yellow like colour). I called the hospital and they told me to come to DAU. I had some tests done and the doctor said most likely thrush, but she also tested for amniotic fluid and she was shocked that it came back positive. I’ve now been in hospital a few nights so they can keep a close eye if anything happens

But… I had a scan yesterday and they said there’s still a normal amount of fluid in there it could have possibly been a hind leak and I’ve read that these can seal back up. I’ve had some uncomfortable tightenings especially through the night but none since about 5am this morning. I’m quite confused now because the doctor that came in this morning (one who I’ve never seen before and also never asked me a lot of questions ag all) suggested it may of been a false positive test for the amniotic fluid??? But never offered any extra tests and instead told me I have to stay another night and carry of the antibiotics and steroid injections in case baby comes early. He also told me the uncomfortable tightens is probably just baby’s position but I think I’m far enough now to know what the different baby positions feel like🙄plus, on the monitors they have been showing as contractions or Braxton hicks.

I feel as if I’m being shrugged off - through out this process I’ve been on antibiotics, monitors, steroid injections, drip, blue light transferred to a different hospital in case baby came. Surely after all that they can’t just tell me oh it’s probably a false positive but offer me no more tests to double check…

Any advice??

Can’t they run the test again? My waters broke and during the hospital stay a senior consultant told me oh bless you, you have zero waters left! But on the scan i had more than regular amount left, and yet I was still constantly leaking amniotic fluid!

They told me the test was negative. I told them my waters definitely broke and they kept telling me no. I was persistent and knew I was right , had another check and it was confirmed they broke x be persistent if you feel something off

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲
